Class 11/11

It was Veteran's Day on Monday (which complicated our plans to sketch at the community college because, unlike CCAD, their classes were cancelled), so instead we broke up and had an independent sketching day. I went to a local coffee shop (Cafe Brioso, yum!) and sketched.

It turned into a really pleasant afternoon. I tried to focus on doing a mix of different things -- capturing gesture, but also do some caricature and playing with proportion. I'm pretty happy with the way that some of the sketches turned out!
